This elegantly designed 17-inch monitor boasts of good display characteristics with support for resolutions of up to 1600x1200. Also, this is the only monitor (apart from Sony) that features an aperture grille. With a dot pitch of 0.25mm, this monitor allows access to all the screen image and colour controls, with corrections for horizontal and vertical convergence, raster rotation, parallelogram and pinbalancing besides the usual screen geometry controls like sizing and positioning. The raster quality in the convergence tests appeared to be reasonably good, with only slight blurring in the upper right corner, which could be corrected through the controls. The lattices in the screen geometry test were very straight, with no sign of bending or any anomalies in the horizontal and vertical aspects. Varied features and impressive performance make this monitor a logical choice for the demanding professional.
